the State House and why she was hung for being a Quaker; The story of the bean and the cod; the Great Brinks Robbery; The Molasses Flood, the myth of the Boston Tea Party; the Paul Revere Myth; and
stories such as how James Michael Curley ran his campaign for mayor from his prison cell and got elected. His campaign slogan was “vote often, vote early for mayor James Michael Curley.” The drive also takes you through parts of Cambridge where you will see MIT and Harvard. Breakfast. Day 3: Concord and Lexington Breakfast at leisure in hotel. Depart for a tour of Concord and Lexington. Your first stop will be at the Minuteman National Park

Next, travel to historic Concord where you will learn that Paul Revere never made the midnight ride and that he didn't become famous for the ride until Longfellow wrote a poem about him 90 years after the event. You will learn that Paul Revere's task was to warn John Hancock and Samuel Adams that the British were after them. Most people don’t realize that John Hancock was one of the most notorious smugglers of the colony and that Samuel Adams had several warrants against him for treason against the Crown. At the north Bridge you will learn that the British were after brass canon’s that were stolen from the armory in Boston. Having lightweight brass canons would be the equivalent of someone stealing a nuclear weapon in today’s time. In fact, the British troops were instructed not to fire on British citizens. Your guide will relate the stories of what happened in Concord to similar events that happened at Ruby Ridge and Wako. Only victors write history books and all history is a matter of perspective.
